Youth (and Others!) Prayer Walk at Camp Pitt

Summer camp is just around the corner!  To ask the Lord’s blessing on the camp and its ministry, we’ll take a prayer walk at camp next Sunday, May 19.  We’ll provide lunch here at church after the 11:00 service, then go to camp to pray.  A prayer walk consists of several “stations” located throughout the camp where we will stop and pray about specific aspects of the camp’s ministry.  This will be a good time of fellowship between youth and adults, and everyone is invited to go along!

Grace Harmony Concert

Mt. Ivy welcomes “Grace Harmony” (Mike and Sue Filisky) back for a concert during morning worship on May 26.  We’ll have combined worship at 10:00 (no 9:00 or 11:00 services or Sunday School that day) with a concert during the service.  We’ll also have a covered dish/potluck lunch after the service.  Please plan to be with us and invite your friends!

Red Cross Blood Drive

Mt. Ivy will host its first blood drive on Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  We need volunteers to help with loading and unloading equipment, guiding guests, and serving refreshments.  If you can help, please let Steve Pasley know.  We hope you’ll plan to donate blood if you can and encourage your neighbors to do so.  Here’s how to schedule an appointment online: Go to redcrossblood.org and choose “Donate Blood” near the top of the page.  Choose “Schedule an Appointment” from the dropdown menu.  Enter “24121” in the search box for “Find a Drive,” scroll down to our drive on June 22 and click on the “See Times” button.  Click on the appointment time you want and enter the information.  You may need to create an account first, following the directions on the screen.  You may also change or cancel appointments through the “Donate Blood” dropdown menu.  Thanks for supporting our first drive!
